We are changing this page from the use of the 'MIVA' scripting language to the infinitely superior 'PHP' scripting language and the 'MySQL' database. We made a BIG mistake using the proprietary 'MIVA' scripting language and we do not recommend the use of 'MIVA'. Instead we recommend either 'PERL' or 'PHP' for your scripting needs. Both of these programming languages offer greater flexibility and have a much, much larger userbase. In addition you can find many more resources on the internet for these languages. The 'MySQL' database program is especially suited for use on web sites and is recommended for those applications.
